On our last foray into custom-body tweaks, we installed a Probe remote-release fuel door in our '66 Ranchero and deleted the ashtray from the dash to clean up an unnecessary hole, since Editor Ford is a non-smoker. This time, we'll show you how to delete your stock antenna, fill some body holes, and install floor sections using Auto krafters repopped units. Subtle changes and improvements seldom change the character of a vehicle and almost always result in an enhanced version of a classic design. The '60s Ford metal has always been my favorite design group and makes a great canvas for personalizing one's ride. Maybe these suggestions will give you some ideas for your ride, and with tools like panel adhesives, welders, and the massive array of aftermarket products available, the sky's the limit.

Apply these universal tips, along with your own taste and skill, to give your ride a unique flavor. This is the time to make it your own, and with a little homework, forethought, and a game plan, you can do it all yourself.
